Condition
The canvas has been relined. Ultra-violet light reveals an even layer of opaque varnish which prevents it from fully penetrating. However, some minor scattered spots of strengthening are visible notably in the stone wall and in the building to the right. The picture is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
