Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There are some faint, scattered lines of hairline craquelure, notably in the sky, with some associated spots of flaking. Ultra-violet light reveals scattered spots of cosmetic retouching in the sky addressing the above flaking. However, the main composition appears to be untouched. This work is in good overall condition and ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
