Condition
The canvas has an old lining and is securely attached to its wooden stretcher. Ultra-violet light reveals some finely applied lines of retouching addressing craquelure in the sky and one circa 5cm stroke in the centre of the sky, possibly addressing an old repair. The work is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
