Condition

Overall the condition of the terracotta is good with minor dirt and wear consistent with age. There is a layer of slip to the surface. There are a few small chips and abrasions to the edges of some of the flowers and leaves including to the rose by the proper right breast and to the petals in the hair by the proper right ear. There are a few minor chips in the drapery including at the proper left shoulder. The surface has darkened at some high points such as at the edges of the leaves and flowers. There are a few small chips around the edges and corners of the integral socle. Some dirt residues to the surface.
