Condition

There is dirt to the surface consistent with age, notably on the terrasse. The marble has been heavily cleaned, which has given the surface a shiny appearance. There are a few reattachments including the proper left hand at the wrist, and the tip of the index finger, and the fingers and thumb of the proper right hand. There is some minor veining to the marble consistent with the material, including to the back and the hat, and a slightly open vein to the proper right forearm and one to the proper left sleeve. There are minor chips and abrasions to the surface in areas. The condition of the column is good, with some chips and abrasions to the edges, particularly where the parts connect. There is veining to the marble consistent with the material. There is a restored break to one of the upper sections of the column and some glue residue is visible.
