Overall the condition of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. It appears that a wax has been applied to the surface throughout. There is some light veining, consistent with the material, to the proper right shoulder and arm. There are a few minor chips, notably to the drapery and the foliage at the back. There is a filled inclusion to the top of the head on the proper right side, and a few further minor naturally occurring inclusions at the back.
