Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a joint with some fill around Venus' proper right wrist. There is some dark staining in areas, including to the crevices and Venus' proper right arm. There are a few minor firing cracks, consistent with the material, including to Venus' neck and abdomen on the proper right side. There is a small lacuna to Venus' proper right cheek. There are chips around the bottom of the integral base.
There are some surface wear, minor stable splitting, and a few small chips to the wood base.
