Overall the condition of the wood is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are some small scratches and nicks, including to the front unpainted section. There is wear to the polychromy, including at the edges. A green painted section at the front is carved separately and there is a small plug. There are a few small holes in the sculpture. There is a possible restoration to the cold red section at the back and possibly a slight restoration to the very top. There is wear, particularly around the base. There is minor splitting to the wood, consistent with the material, including to the separately carved green section. There are a few dirt marks.
