Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and mostly concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The leather surfaces with minor surface scratches, light crazing and some areas of concentrated abrasions, with more pronounced light scratches to the ottoman, all of which are consistent with age and gentle use. The chair with two small areas of composite filling and one triangular shaped area of wood filling repair, all located to the proper right side. With a small punched half circle mark centered by a pin hole to the upper proper left side(approx. ¼ inch in diameter) . The finial of upper corner to the proper left side has been sensitively restored and stabilized. Please note the ottoman is later associated and as such is of a slightly lighter wood stain, difficult to discern in the catalogue image.
