Condition

Overall in good condition. The wood surfaces present with surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions consistent with age and gentle use and largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The upper side of each side rails with some shallow dents and nicks in few places. The proper left end side front legs showing the more extensive shallow dents and nicks located to its upped corner and mid-section of the leg. Both cushions are new and in excellent condition, the larger with Scandinavian Savak wool fabric and leather banding. The horizontal nylong bands under the cushion all appear original from the time of production and in strong structural form. An elegantly simplistic silhouette, this day bed wonderfully combines a variety of material types for a unified form.
