Condition

Overall in good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and mostly concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The brass elements surface with minor oxidation, and very light surface scratches consistent with use, touching and the natural aging process of the material. The seat is made of original leather lined canvas; the back rest is made of solely leather. Both the backrest and the seat are slightly warped and rigid to the touch as is consistent with age, gentle use and atmospheric impact. Both the seat and back rest present with traces of darker coloration in places, possibly from leather wax and consistent with leather care through the years. A very rare model that presents very well, the original leather retains a very nice rich patina and the overall form is structurally sound.
