Condition
Both stools in overall very good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use, largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. With some faint scattered water stains and traces of natural Danish oil drips to the legs and undersides of the seat. The original red dyed leather is in good condition with natural wear to the center of the seat and back rest edges consistent with age and gentle use. The leather seats with light scratches, some with a darker coloration due to age, as well as a few scattered circular discolorations. Structurally sound and of an intimate size, the chairs present with a very nice patina to the original leather. The cone-shaped base provides a dynamic stance that is subtly and elegantly enhanced by darker pegs at the joint in conjunction the use of a deep red leather.
