Condition

Overall good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The proper right arm rest with a small area of wood infill at the base of the applied armrest. The original leather surfaces with surface with the general wear, abrasions and scattered scratches. Due to light wear, the stained black of the leather is slightly fading in areas, showing some tan of the base leather. As is typical with leather of this age, there is some scattered cracking due to drying over time. The footrest with a professionally stabilized crack with subsequent waxing to the leather (approx..3 in.). Overall an exciting form with strong lines, the model is rarely pared with the matching ottoman.
