Lot 2230: Excellent appearance, color and clarity, Lot 2231: Wine comes from two different importers, 8 labels slightly scuffed capsules, slightly worn, 5 slightly nicked, Lot 2232: u. 1bn, wine comes from different importers, 3 slightly soiled labels, 5 slightly wrinkled, 3 nicked capsules
Owner Christine Valette, and consultant Michel Rolland, have made a superb wine, worthy of this terroir that many consider to be of Premier Grand Cru Classé standard (which it has now attained). Only 25 hl/hectare were made. Great plummy depth on the nose. Still very young. Increasingly rich in the glass. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
