Tasted from half bottle. Darker colour than the '62. Huge, meaty nose. Liquorice, white tobacco, spices. Huge rich liquorice richness on the palate. Just entirely lines the whole interior of the mouth. A giant wine of great square shoulders allied to spicy complexity and huge dimension. Multi-layered. Grandiose.
