Very minerally, very 'irony' nose. Total breed. Lots of great, fresh, violetty fruit. So silky and such finesse. So sweet at the end. It sometimes has a bouquet of wild boar (the cooked version!), a glorious, gamey taste and a lovely aniseed finish. In 2012, a superlative 'exotic' nose. Superb, irony centre. Utterly mouth coating with that great Pétrus heart to it. Sweetness and mineral dimension. True long finish. In a class of its own. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
