Catalogue Note

Available in Europe between 1964 and 1969, the Reference 6239 was the first Daytona and is now regarded as one of the most iconic vintage Rolex.

The present lot, preciously preserved by the family of the original owner until today, was carefully restored by the manufacture in 2015. This fantastic and well-document work gives the exceedingly rare opportunity to the future owner to acquire a beautiful vintage watch in like-new condition and enjoy it without the risks inherent to a collector piece.
