Condition
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in moderately good condition.
It is still on its original canvas. We notice two tears in the middle of the lower part (middle of the waistcoat) as well as some repaints in the backgrounds, especially on the right, and in the waistcoat, particularly in the lower part.
Under U.V. light:
The painting appears under a green uniform varnish. We notice some restorations, most probably overflowing from the spots already mentioned.
