Condition
The image is quite accurate. The marble with minor surface dirt and tiny edge chips, especially behind the dial (not distracting).
The gilt bronzes : the left garland, with an old restoration, needs to be properly re-fixed on the pedestal.
Otherwise the gilding in good condition overall. The goats heads worn. The silvered garlands with oxidation.
The agate vase in good condition, with a little loose.
Inevitable tiny chips on the enamel dial.
Please note we do not guarantee the working order of the mechanism (with a modern winder).
Highly delicate and precious clock from the workshop of Giuseppe Valadier.
