Condition

The sheet has been laid down and there are no signs of cockling. There are areas of foxing, particularly in the sky and areas of discoloured retouching to the girl's face which would be improved by being removed and re-applied. FRAME The watercolour is contained in a simple gilt frame with a gilded mount - the frame and mount are probably the originals.
