Condition
This picture is in very good condition with strong colours. The canvas has a wax lining. There is only a small area of fine craquelure to the cloud on the extreme right. The paint surface appears to be a little discoloured and may benefit from a light clean.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There do not appear to be any retouchings.

The picture is contained in a moulded plaster gilt frame.
