"THIS IS PRE-EMINENTLY THE BIRTH DAY OF WOMANHOOD." In this pamphlet, Susan B. Anthony and her fellow committee members urge American women to demand "their Right to and their Use of the Elective Franchise."

In addition to Anthony, the National Woman Suffrage and Educational Committee comprised Isabella Beecher Hooker, Paulina W. Davis, Mary B. Bowen, Ruth C. Denison, and Josephine S. Griffing.
