Folio (540 x 340mm.), engraved allegorical title-page showing the globe surmounted by the figure of Atlas, printed index listing 104 subjects, 103 (of 104) double-page and folding maps of all parts of the world, CONTEMPORARY HAND-COLOUR, contemporary vellum boards, lacking map 6 (Hispania), title-leaf and five maps repaired with loss (World, America, Europe, Brabantia ducatus and Marchionatus Sacri Imperii), several maps strengthened, some creasing and soiling, hinges broken, binding slightly worn, lacking two pairs of ties
