Catalogue Note

Award-winning photographer Ilo Battigelli (b.1922) worked for Aramco in Saudi Arabia from 1946-54 where he photographed the building of the Aramco oil refinery at Ras Tannura, and produced captivating black and white images of the landscape and people.
