Catalogue Note

The neighbouring islands described in this work include Simi, Leros, Ikaria, Tilos, and Kos, and the castle of Bodrum.

According to Blackmer the number of plates in this work, as with many works by Coronelli, differs in each copy, and it is possible that up to 21 plates could be present. However the Blackmer copy itself contained just 11 plates and 3 'extra' plates, and the Atabey copy 15 plates.
