    inscribed inside front cover: Views in Lincolnshire 1807., many of the sheets inscribed with locations, dated between the 7 July and 27 July 
  • Album size: 145 by 235 mm.
Oblong 8vo (138 x 228mm.), 22 WATERCOLOURS (including one loosely inserted and 2 double-page), 2 PENCIL DRAWINGS, contemporary calf, rebacked, corners repaired

Serres (1759–1825) enjoyed significant success as a marine and landscape painter, and regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy, he was also for a while Maritime Painter to George III.
