  • A collection of watercolours of local flora made for presentation to Franz Joseph I, to celebrate 600 years of Habsburg rule over Carniola. [1883]

Folio (550 x 390mm.), 30 sheets of original watercolours by ?A. Guaiz, the first with the arms of the Duchy of Carniola, surmounted by the imperial crown, with the dates 1283–1883, surrounded by a garland and signed by the artist, the remainder with botanical studies captioned in Slovenian, Latin and German, housed in a velvet-covered box with the monogram of Franz Joseph I
