Catalogue Note
This album appears to have been compiled by a French mining engineer or prospector, who travelled in Korea in January 1900. The images include views of Seoul, and many of gold and silver mining operations in the region of Unsan in north Korea. There are also photographs of various consulates, street and river scenes, shops, houses, tombs and monuments, railways, and villages.
