Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 10 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout including one spider crack. All of these hairlines appear stable. The shade throughout with light surface soiling to the glass and adjacent contours of the shade leading. When viewed first hand, the glass presents with a subtly variegated palette of bright yellow-oranges and softer yellows, and the upper register displays warm and cool tones of amethyst. The leading presents with a rich, dark patina, with evidence of an earlier gilt patina. The interior of the shade with three period twisted and bent bronze wire spheres, all in good condition with light surface soiling to the recessed areas, each with a ball ornament, all in good condition with light rubbing and minor surface scratches. The patinated bronze shade canopy, chain, and ceiling canopy are replaced and based on original Tiffany designs. These components present with a rich russet brown patina. The socket cluster and sockets appear to be period. The lantern displays beautifully with strong sculptural presence.
