Condition
Overall in very good condition. The bronze surfaces throughout display a rich and satisfying green patina, with some light surface scratches, wear, rubbing, and areas of oxidation consistent with age and use. With approximately 9 cracks to the leaded glass tiles dispersed throughout. The accompanying bronze hardware and interior sockets appear to be period. A nice example of this sculptural and dynamic lantern model. When viewed firsthand the glass is more vibrant than seen in the catalogue illustrations, displaying a subtle gradation from orange-yellow along the top register to a more subtle yellow hue below.
