Overall very good condition. This is an associated pair with one monogrammed and one non-monogrammed candlestick. Both candlesticks with period snuffers and bobeches. The monogrammed candlestick displays with a rich russet brown, red and green patina; the other coloration of the other candlestick’s patina displays with a slightly more green hue. The patinas to both candlesticks are likely original with minor surface scratches, areas of rubbing, and some light residue, all consistent with age and gentle handling and use. Both bobeches with some expected rubbing and candle wax residue. The patina of the snuffer of the non-monogrammed candlestick appears to have been sensitively touched up with green paint at some point in the history of the piece. The blown glass of both candlesticks appears to be original with light surface scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, not visually distracting. The glass of the monogrammed candlestick is slightly more yellow-green than the other candlestick and presents with a few scattered minute fleabites. The glass of the other candlestick with some minor chips to the upper edge, visible only when the bobeche is removed.
