Condition

Overall very good condition. The bronze bases both display rich russet brown and red patinas with some light surface scratches, residue, and a few scattered areas of oxidation and discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. One base with a small old break in the reticulated lattice structure, stable, and a small casting flaw. The same candle light with approximately 3 cracks to the blown glass which are stable and a few minor fleabites, none visually distracting. The other candle light with a few cracks, irregularities, and fleabites to the blown glass. The blown glass of both candle lights appears to be original and each displays with light surface dirt to the recessed areas adjacent to the bronze framework and some light surface scratches. The tulip shades each with scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making, light surface scratches and a few minor chips to the lower rim consistent with age and gentle handling. One shade with a hairline stress crack approximately one inch in length within the iridescent pulled feather decoration. Both candle lights are outfitted with for electrical use, as was the original intention of their design. A rare design with nice scale and elegant lines.
