Condition
Overall in very good condition. The large inset turtle-back tiles appear intact and undisturbed and are in very good condition with no visible crack or chip. the turtleback tiles are beautifully iridized and when viewed with reflected light remit strong luminous color in a range of brilliant hue. The rich russet brown and green patina of the bronze show minimal surface wear and rubbing and minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The lamp retains its original sockets and under plate base. The switch has been replaced. The turtle back tiles are cased to the interior with opaque glass panels, which heightens the visual depth and luminosity of the turtle back panels. An attractive example of the model.
