Condition

Overall very good condition. When viewed in person, the vase presents with a slightly warmer white tone to the upper portion and the bottom bulb is a slightly brighter, subtly iridized yellow-orange than seen in the catalogue illustration. With scattered minute air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. With an opalescent rim and mold-blown rim. The upper portion with some very light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. The transparent stem is slightly rougher in texture, which is inherent in the making. The lower orange bulb with an area of rubbing and a small fleck. An superb example of the Egyptian Onion form with impressive scale.
