Condition

Overall in very good condition. With a few minute air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The exterior surfaces with some light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The fan with a thread through its center above the aperture, inherent in the making. The bottom portion of the fan below the aperture with subtle tool marks, inherent in the production process. The interior with some scattered red spotting, which is inherent in the sprayed application of the iridescent surface treatment (visible in the catalogue illustration and not visually detracting). The reverse of the fan with a few minor irregularities within the iridescence. The interior of the foot with some minor debris. The pontil with an isolated area of dark inclusion, likely from the rod during the production process. The underbase with discretely applied accession number by prior owner. A very nice free-blown example.
