Believed reconditioned at chateau, very slightly bin soiled labels and corroded capsules, slightly sunken corks
A heathery bouquet, with the Montrose meaty `beefiness'. Less refined than the other Montrose wines of the '20s (a fabulous decade for the château) but masses of fruit and concentration. A great treacly centre and tarry finish - deeply concentrated. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
