Condition

The panel is flat and even. There is a tiny hole in the upper centre, and traces of the wood grain are visible through the composition (visible in the catalogue illustration). Inspection of the reverse reveals a superficial crack at the edge which does not appear to go all the way through the panel, or to be visible on the front. Ultra-violet light reveals an even varnish and traces of a former signature in the lower right fluoresce. Presented in a gilt frame, with some losses.

Catalogue Note
