Condition
The panel is very slightly convex around the left and right edges, however apparently stable otherwise.
There is a fine pattern of craquelure. There are some scattered very small spots of paint flaking primarily in the sky.
Ultraviolet lights reveals small scattered spots of retouching visible in the sky (some slightly discoloured and visible in the catalogue illustration), and to the corners.
The painting is otherwise in good condition and could benefit from having the minor retouchings reapplied.
Presented in a gilt frame.
