Condition
The canvas is unlined.
There is a faint stretcher mark corresponding to the horizontal stretcher bar.
Some scattered localised areas of drying craquelure (as faintly visible in the catalogue illustration).
There are a few small spots of paint flaking, and some light thin scratches, notably in the trunk of the tree in the lower left.
There are scattered signs of visible surface dirt.
Traces of residual varnish fluoresces unevenly ; however there do not appear to be any notable visible sign of retouching.
