Condition

The sheet has not been laid down but is hinged on the reverse to the mat along the top page . There are traces of old adhesive on the reverse of the sheet related to previous framing. The sheet has slightly sunned with age but this work is otherwise in good overall condition and ready to hang. The colours are richer in reality, with less of an orange cast in the man’s coat. Presented in a gilt frame

Catalogue Note
