Condition
The canvas has not been lined.
Under ultraviolet light the varnish fluoresces evenly and quite opaquely, making the surface difficult to read; there appear to be strokes of retouching intermittently along the framing edges.
The painting is in good overall condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a cream-painted liner
