Condition
The canvas is unlined with scattered small spots of fungal bloom visible on the reverse.
As just visible in the catalogue illustration there is a fine pattern of craquelure and some areas of paint shrinkage in the dark pigments, notably in the foliage to the right of center
The canvas is slightly raised in the sky towards the upper left.
Ultraviolet light reveals signs of retouching, notably three horizontal strokes, possibly repairs, near the center of the left edge, and a small spot in the foreground to the left.
This work is in good overall condition and ready to hang.
