The canvas has not been lined. There is a fine pattern of craquelure, visible notably in the lower right. Under ultraviolet light the old residual vanish fluoresces making the service difficult to read. Some retouches are clearly visible, notably along the lower edge and probably in the shadowed area of the path. The painting is in good overall condition and could benefit from a professional clean if desired. The colours are richer and deeper in reality than in the catalogue illustration. Presented in a gilt, elaborate rococo style frame.
