Condition

- The canvas has not been lined. - As visible in the catalogue illustration there are some small spots of paint flaking, notably in the foliage in the upper left quadrant. - There are some fine lines of paint shrinkage, notably in the darker pigments. - Under ultraviolet light, the old varnish layers fluoresce opaquely, however there do not appear to be any clear sign of retouching. - The painting is in good overall condition and would benefit from a surface clean. -Presented in a decorative gilt frame with some ornament losses
