Catalogue Note
First edition. Browne was the subject of a scathing attack by James Young (1647–1721) in Medicaster medicatus, or a remedy for the itch of scribbling (1685) in which the work at hand was shown to be blatantly plagiarized from the work of Casserio and William Molins.
