8vo (142 x 90 mm).  Bound without preliminary or terminal blanks, diminishing stain in lower corner throughout mostly affecting catchwords, very faint stain through quire L, few scattered smudges, paper flaw tear to one leaf. Modern gilt calf to style.

It includes 91 extracts from Shakespeare  (all from plays or poems printed prior to 1600) and selections from Daniel, Drayton, Jonson, Marlowe, Spenser, Lodge, etc.
