Catalogue Note
First edition, separate issue. Diverse New Sorts of Soyle is also found published with with two other works by Plat under the general title Jewell House of Art and Nature, but since the three works all have individual title-pages, signatures, and paginations, they were almost certainly also available individually. Plat had "corresponded with all lovers of gardening and agriculture in the country, and his investigations into the effects of various manures, especially salt and marl, proved of genuine value" (DNB).
