Three parts in one volume, 4to (7 x 5 in.; 178 x 127 mm). Text in black letter, 3 separate title-pages with separate registers, 1 (of 3) woodcut frontispieces depicting Arthur encircled by the Knights of the Round Table with the names of 30 knights printed at the top and bottom, headpieces of printer's ornaments and woodcut initials; strong browning throughout, Parts I and III lacking the frontispiece, worm tracks along bottom margin of quires G–O in Part III occasionally touching a catchword or a word in final line of text. Modern calf, covers with blind-paneled quadrant infilled with leafy sprays, central lozenge with blind-stamped rampant lion and lettered round in gilt on the front cover and in blind on the lower cover, spine in six compartments lettered gilt, raised bands.

The sixth edition and the last to be printed prior to the nineteenth century. The text has been modified to suit Jacobean taste.
