Black letter (with roman and italic), numerous woodcut diagrams and illustrations (one full-page), wood- and metalcut initials, 2 folding letterpress tables; occasional manuscript annotations, wax-stains on some leaves, some leaves a little soiled or creased in margins, skilful repairs at corner of title and fore-edge of D4, corner of B1 torn with slight marginal loss. Nineteenth-century polished calf; worn, rebacked, bothcovers detached. Half morocco folding-case.
