Engraved title, 1 engraved plate (of 3 [Temple of Belus]), numerous engraved illustrations in the text; lacking half title, some light foxing, tears, not affecting reading, on C1, T3, Nn4, Qq3 & 4, Ss3, Tt3, Uu3, Xx2, Zz4, Aaa1, Ddd4 and Eee4, 2 pages with blue ink stains. Contemporary English panelled calf. Rebacked, corners repaired, rubbed, title piece renewed.
